Flexography is a type of linear printing method that uses a flexible sheet made of gelatin called cliché.
Due to the use of gelatin stereotypes, it provides manufacturers with the possibility of printing at a lower cost and faster delivery than heliogravure printing.

Flexo printing process has the highest growth rate among all printing processes.
Since flexo printing provides the possibility of printing on a wide range of printing substrates, it is used to print different types of products and different applications.

One of the fields in which flexo printing is very active is the field of food packaging printing. Flexo printing can easily print on non-porous substrates that are widely used in food packaging.
This feature makes flexo printing suitable for printing on plastic bags. In addition to films, flexo printing is also used for wallpaper printing, calendar printing, book printing, and tetrapack packaging.

The printing substrate of this process can be anything, from plastic and polyester films to fabric and even metallic films (polymer films with a thin layer of aluminum).
